The Movement for Democratic Change led by Professor Welshman Ncube have welcomed Morgan Tsvangirai's challenge for a televised debate between all presidential candidates ahead of the July 31 election.
In accepting the challenge, the MDC Spokesperson said: "I thought Prof Welshman Ncube issued this challenge as far back as 2012 and there was all sorts of brouhaha. Please P.M Tsvangirai name place, date and time and the MDC President will be there."
Tsvangirai challenged his political foes to a public debate ahead of the July 31 elections.
Tsvangirai told party supporters at Mkoba Stadium, Sunday, that he was itching for a "fight".
"As we move closer to the election, I am also challenging Mugabe to a live debate on television, where each one of us will articulate our policies on how to make Zimbabwe a better place.
"I am challenging all the presidential candidates to a public debate so that Zimbabweans can see who has the best plan to uplift the lives of Zimbabweans," said Tsvangirai.
Tsvangirai will on July 31 go into the political ring with President Robert Mugabe, Professor Welshman Ncube, Kisinoti Mukwazhe and Dumiso Dabengwa.
