The Zimbabwe Development Party has commended the electorate in Zimbabwe for conducting themselves peacefully saying it is a good sign as people have realised that there is life after elections.
The president of the ZDP, who pulled out of the presidential race, Mr Kisinoti Mukwazhe says peaceful elections ensure that the country can move ahead with development programmes after the polls.
"As a former presidential candidate, I am happy with the way the people of Zimbabwe have conducted themselves. It is good because after the elections the people have to move ahead with development programmes," said Mr Mukwazhe.
Zimbabweans go to the polls on Wednesday to choose councillors, legislators and the president.
