Acting President Joice Mujuru has called on Zanu-PF leaders to transform the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim-Asset) blueprint into tangible results.

She was speaking at the party's Mashonaland Central Provincial Women's League Inter-district Conference here yesterday.

She said Zimbabweans must not speculate on the resources in their respective areas as leaders are available to point them to life-transforming opportunities.

She also said the authorities would ensure women and the youth benefit from the land reform programme.
"Tell the people what they have in their respective wards, districts and provinces, that can change their lives.

Outsiders must not be left to enjoy those resources at the expense of locals.

"Here in Mashonaland Central, we have the masawu fruit which locals can learn to beneficiate, thereby changing their lives."

The Acting President also warned corrupt individuals targeting mining and agriculture.

"There are those who are coming here, claiming to be emissaries of influential people in a bid to undertake corrupt activities.

"If you see such people, bring them to us so that we can deal with them decisively."

Zanu-PF Politburo members Saviour Kasukuwere, Nicholas Goche and Oppah Muchinguri were among the senior party officials who attended the conference.
