President Robert Mugabe has sworn in two Ministers of government at a ceremony held at State House today.

First to be sworn in was Shuvai Mahofa who becomes the Minister of State for Masvingo Province, taking over from Kudakwashe Bhasikiti who was fired from government last week.

Second to take the oath of office was Monica Mutsvangwa who becomes the Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services.

Mutsvangwa takes over from Supa Mandiwanzira who was recently promoted to be Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services.

Mutsvangwa is not new to government as at the end of the inclusive government she was appointed Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, replacing Tracy Mutinhiri who had joined MDC-T.
