Zim opposition leader accorded a state assisted funeral

Zimbabwe People's Democratic Party leader, Mrs Isabel Shanangurai Madangure who died on Friday in South Africa accorded a state assisted funeral and will be buried at Warren Hills Cemetery tomorrow.
Nephew to Mrs Madangure, Mr Itai Masuku said her body is expected from South Africa today.
Mrs Madangure died at a South African hospital where she was under-going treatment after sustaining head injuries when she collapsed at her home in Mandara last month.
Her political party championed the cause for black economic empowerment and respect for traditional authority.
Mourners are gathered at number 22 Pringle Road in Mandara, Harare.
Mrs Madangure, who was a widow, is survived by four children.
