ZANU-PF Mpopoma-Pelandaba legislator Joseph who last month claimed that Matabeleland is not marginalized but locals are ‘lazy' has made a u-turn of some sorts.
Tshuma is now singing marginalization chorus.
In September, Tshuma told pastors in his constituency that Matabeleland region is not marginalised but locals are 'not determined, choosy, they prefer to go to South Africa".
Tshuma told pastors in his constituency recently that people who complain about marginalisation are ignorant.
Zapu said Tshuma's sentiments are reckless and provocative.
However, Tshuma on Sunday "We have leaders in Matabeleland who cannot articulate the challenges faced by their people" he began.
"Matabeleland is marginalised largely because as leaders in the region we are actually failing to highlight problems in the region".
Tshuma claimed that President Robert Mugabe was not ‘aware' of the regions problems.
In October last year in Parliament, Tshuma said Government was marginalising Bulawayo by not taking a keen interest in re-opening Ekusileni Medical Centre.
Ekusileni hospital has been lying idle since 2004.
It temporarily opened but quickly shut down.
