Of Ndebele Kingship, setting the record straight

People must guard against false alarms
IButho leNqama cultural regiment, Inqama kaMthwakazi ethi ingahlehla ibuye ngamandla, we would like set the record straight pertaining the installation of the Mthwakazi King.
It is our duty as IButho to always serve the masses of the Matebele Nation on cultural grounds as well as ensuring the existence of this colourful rainbow nation.
There has been a call for the revival of the Ndebele kingdom since 1893 after the last Mighty Matebele King Lobhengula disappeared, following a bloody war with BSAC invaders. However the calls to revive this mighty Kingdom were publicly raised in 2014 at Mhlahlandlela Kraal where Amahlabezulu asked the Khumalo royal family to point the heir.
In 2015 again at King Mzilikazi commemoration, the tasked Khumalo delegation agreed and confirmed that it had undertaken the process of engaging all Khumalo houses concerned. A Khumalo research team was established in due course to intermediate the proceedings.
In September 2016 at Mhlahlandlela Kraal, the senior Chief, iNduna yakoGodlwayo ubaba uVezi Maduna Mafu announced to the public that the Khumalos had identified the heir and informed the Chiefs.
Rev. Bruce Khumalo, the speaker of Amantungwa, confirmed the news as well iNduna yeNhlambabaloyi uNhlanhlayamangwe who further emphasized that the process is not an easy one and urged ukuthi umphakathi awubekezele akulula. All three speakers who shared the news assured abantu ukuthi kusiya kuMhlahlandlela 2017 iThole lizabe seliphakanyisiwe abantu balibone.
We therefore today, as iButho leNqama, call for patience and we vehemently denounce any candidate or anyone who will stand and claim the royal throne until the word by the Chiefs and amaNtungwa announce that in public. Sithi abantu ababeke amaphaphu phansi iziNduna lamaNtungwa kanye lalabo abakhethwayo ukuncedisa ukubekwa kweThole bayasebenza kanzima badinga uxhaso lwethu. Who ever claims to be the King will be a laughing stock as the genuine King will be in no match for chancers and opportunists.
UBukhosi akusinto yokudlalela kuyo, mhla kwavela iqiniso wonke amehlo azalibona. Some other self-imposed Kings and candidates who claim to be the heirs have a serious identity crisis and questionable lineages such that their claims to be Khumalo heirs is nullified under such reasons. The Khumalo family collectively with the senior Chiefs have many times mentioned that it's only King Lobhengula's house that will provide the new King.
We also like to urge everyone from all corners of Mthwakazi to get ready to witness the soon to be historical event. IziNduna lamaNtungwa bazalumemezela usuku maduze, lingabi ngothathekile likholwe noma ngubani oqhamuka ephethe amaswidi ahlanganiswe letswayi.
