AFM Pastor bashes wife

A 57-YEAR-OLD Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) pastor in Plumtree has been dragged to court after he assaulted his wife over a phone dispute.
Majalifa Marumo appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware yesterday facing an assault charge.
He pleaded not guilty.
The state led by Voster Makuwerere alleged on October 9 the pastor's wife arrived home around 9pm and found no one at her home.
She called her husband and he did not pick the calls.
The pastor arrived 30 minutes later and was served sadza but he refused to eat and the wife went to the bedroom.
The charged pastor followed and assaulted her using open hands.
The complainant vomited blood after the attack and he dragged her to the study room.
The matter continues on October 19.
