Woman beats daughter-in-law with knobkerrie, cable

A 37-year-old Tsholotsho woman has been slapped with 350 hours of community service after assaulting her daughter-in-law over gossiping allegations.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), on November 9 last year, the mother-in-law confronted her daughter-in-law at her homestead in Sipepa on accusations of spreading rumours.
During the confrontation, the mother-in-law then beat her with an electrical switching cable and knobkerrie, leaving her with a swollen body.
