Binga Kabuba ward 17 Councillor for MDC-T Themba Munkombwe has written a letter to Council's Chief Executive Officer Joshua Muzamba complaining about the criteria used to select village environmental management committees and ward environmental management committees that took place on November 2 and 4.

In a letter dated November 5 Munkombwe said in his view the selection only targeted at people with interest such as Aleck Mudenda and Richard Muzamba who lost their intended positions during elections.

He said the whole exercise was only to suit CEO's desires and not them proper effectiveness of Binga council that is why the CEOP gave a directive that he (Munkombwe) should not be included in the programme.

"The Acting Campfire manager Lameck Muntanga has indicated that you ordered him not to work with me," Munkombwe said.

He further question why Muntanga was made to work with Eshwet Munsaka and Amos Munsaka who are the culprits who allegedly wanted to kill him in July last year. He said the two are known Zanu-PF thugs who always plan his downfall.

He demanded the reversal of the appointment of the committees he highlighted.
