*TODAY'S WORD*

Deut 26:12 "When you have finished laying aside all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, so that they may eat within your gates and be filled,

The Levites, the Strangers, Widows and the Orphans God put them under the care of the Church. Their welfare should be regarded as a matter of concern. This is what James termed "pure and undefiled religion". It is very saddening that the most Christians have haphazardly implemented this system. Selectively to be more precise. God prioritises the welfare of his people, much to the treatment of the less privileged and his workers.

If we faithfully execute this duty, God's everlasting principles of truth, justice and purity would draw many to Christ.

It is God's will that through the revelation of His Character through obedient Christians, men should be drawn to Him. Through the teaching of the sacrificial service, Christ was to be uplifted before the nations, through human agents, me and you. Withholding nothing.

There should be no withholding on our part, of our service or our means, if we would fulfill our purpose. The purpose of all God's commandments is to reveal man's duty not only to God, but also ti his fellow men. In this late age of the world's history, we have diverted this. Because of selfishness of our hearts through what we term as civilisation, to question or dispute the right if God to make these requirements, or we will deceive ourselves, and rib ourselves of the richest blessings that comes wit obedience and the grace of God.

God will have no controversy with us in regard to these binding precepts. It is enough that He said that obedience ti His statutes and laws is life and prosperity of His people.

If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.
