TODAY'S WORD
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
If God demands that we have faith when it is impossible for us to have faith, then we have a right to question His justice. But if He places within our hands the means by which faith can be obtained. Then the responsibility rests with us to whether PR not we have faith.
God has told us that without faith it is impossible to please Him. In other words faith is a prerequisite. But ohh we are told.
Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Let's learn to listen to God's word, for it is through it that we attain faith. Then we will do the noble works that comes with it. Let's reflect on one story here on the subject matter.
Faith is believing in what one does not see. Many souls can be saved by faith. Many biblical figures were saved not because they lived righteous lives but because they had faith, love and peace. The harlot Rahab received salvation not because she was righteous but one show of kindness saved her, receiving the spies with peace. Though we live in a sinful world where people think of themselves only, just one act of love can save you. Let us try to always do good not only for ourselves but for the wellbeing of others too because the reward comes back to us in the end.
If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.
