TODAY'S WORD

Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

One of best chapters to read in the bible is Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 2. Before the fall of men. Eden in its completeness. All was well. Today all one has is look around, at the world, at the neighborhood, at oneself, to see the point. And the writing is one the whole, written in plain text "SOMETHING IS TERRIBLE WRONG"! No doubt about that. Its called the Fall, its called sin, its called rebellion, and it's the great controversy. Sorrow, pain, death, mourning, heartbreaks, and heart attacks, widows and orphans. Its not normal.

And yet, the good news is that its not permanent. Its not going to last forever. Jesus came, died a substitutionary death for the remission of men's sins. And promised to come again, and when he does, nothing of this corrupt world will remain. Instead a new kingdom, His eternal Kingdom, will begin. *Dan 2:44 "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever*.

But we don't wait till the second advent of Christ for our restoration to commence. For if we are in Christ the restoration begins. The Apostle Paul said we are new creatures (2 For 5:17) And we are to be transformed to the likeliness of Christ. And restoration begins. Then we have a peace of mind, love, joy, kindness, humility, charity and humbleness, for we are in the character of Christ, to be finally restored back to the image of God.

If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.
