MRP must stop destroying evidence about Gukurahundi....
20 Feb 2017 at 07:42hrs | Views
.....victims by unlawfully and continuous burying the remains of human beings discovered
It is amazing and painful for the MRP party to take a wrong resolution and carry on burying the remains of Gukurahundi victims without consulting relevant authorities to excavate, take remains to the laboratories for tests so as to find exactly who were those people and whereabouts of their relatives.
People want answers from ZANU government about the whereabouts of their relatives who went on missing during the war yet MRP is destroying evidence. This is an advice to the supreme structure of MRP to take this issue into consideration and think wise. What happened in Matobo whereby MRP leadership donated cement to bury the remains was going to be good after serious investigation was done, remains identified, their relatives called to make rituals as Africans,we believe that it is not proper to just bury unknown body or remains,it is not on league with spirit of Ubuntu "humanity/buntuism"
Now that the evidence is buried,ZANU bigwigs who were involved during the massacres are enjoying and see this as a stepping Stone not to be questioned.
Where is the Truth and Reconciliation Commission? What are the functions of this commission when things are done this way?
May all political parties take this issue serious before MRP destroy a lot of evidence
