Mugabe is 'Everready battery ready' for 2018 - if elections were free, the battery would be dead!

"Zanu PF is ever ready (for 2018 elections). You know that battery, which is written Everready, always yielding power. We stand ready all the time," President Mugabe said.
With billions of dollars from all the looting going on in Marange to bankroll Zanu PF's vote rigging schemes and not even one democratic reform implemented which means the party has total control of all the State Institution to order as the regime sees fit in helping it in its vote rigging; of course, the party can afford to be very confident of another landslide victory.
"Zanu PF infighting won't stop the revolutionary party from posting a resounding victory," boasted President Mugabe.
The immediate thing that would have President Mugabe and his Zanu PF cabal in a real panic even now when the tyrant is feeling so confident of electoral victory is to learn that the next elections are going to be free, fair and credible.
The fear that the country will implement the democratic reforms designed to stop him rigging the elections was the one thing that worried President Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs throughout the GNU years. It was this fear that forced him to bend over backwards to please Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friend; he saw to it that they were granted all the trappings of power, everything. He gave Tsvangirai the $4 million Highlands mansion just to keep him quiet and sweet. All this was done for one purpose and one purpose only – to bribe the MDC leaders and stop them at all cost from implementing the dreaded democratic reforms.
As the five years of the GNU drew to a close and not even one democratic reform had been implemented; President Mugabe sighed with relief. Even to this day, he must be very pleased with himself for having successful pulled of an escape trick that even the great magician Harry Houdini would have said was impossible! Bribing Tsvangirai and a few others in MDC was a piece of cake; bribing ALL the MDC leaders hard enough but foxing them ALL so they do not implement even one reforms in FIVE years was just impossible!
Tsvangirai and some of his MDC friends are stupid and greedy but to expect ALL the MDC leaders to be so stupid they would not realise that by failing to implement the reforms they will be shooting themselves in the foot was just a preposterous proposition! And yet that is exactly what happened; it is a historic fact; MDC leaders failed to implement not even one democratic reform in five years. Not one!
The only way the reforms could have been implemented even in the dying months of the GNU was if the MDC opposition had boycotted the elections as Senator David Coltart readily admitted in his book.
"The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn't now do the obvious – withdraw from the elections," explained Senator Coltart.
"The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility."
After the rigged July 2013 elections Morgan Tsvangirai and company vowed never again to contest in any elections until the democratic reforms are implemented. President Mugabe must have known they were bluffing, the opposition politicians' greed will lour them to contest the elections regardless how flawed or illegal. And surprise, surprise; Tsvangirai and company have all forgotten their respective party resolutions of "No reform, no elections!"
"They want me to stand for elections," said Mugabe on the issue of him retiring. "If I feel I cannot do it any more, I will say so to my party so they relieve me. For now, I think I can't say so. Also the majority of the people feel that there is no replacement actually, no successor who to them is acceptable as I am."
The announcement that the opposition have formed a grand coalition will never worry President Mugabe. However, if the people of Zimbabwe were to force the sell-out opposition politicians to boycott elections and thus once again force through the issue of free, fair and credible elections; that will have President Mugabe worried sick. Rather than face the certainty of a humiliating electoral defeat, he knows that he will never ever win a free and fair election, he will retire!
He will be the one announcing that he is ready to retire and Zanu PF must find another candidate to contest the elections. He knows that Zanu PF will never win a free, fair and credible elections.
Zimbabwe is right of the edge of the abyss and another rigged election will tip the country over the edge. We have our last chance to save the country from tipping into the abyss and all we must do is force these sell-out opposition politicians to do the "obvious" thing – withdraw from contesting yet another flawed election! We must expose the opposition lie that an opposition coalition will stop or in any way neutralize Zanu PF's vote rigging and deliver the regime change we are, literally, dying for.
