MRP surely taking part in destroying Gukurahundi evidence

In our quest as Mthwakazi people to see ourselves being a free and an independent State, we should use all ammunition in our disposal to realise that dream and Gukurahundi Genocide is one incident we could use to our advantage. The massacre of Mthwakazi people at cold blood, was and remains against humanity and thus it seeks justice to take its course.

Perpetrators of the killings must face the music and for them to face the music, every evidence gathered in that regard should be preserved. All mass graves around Mthwakazi land should be identified, marked and fenced. In that way we could be certain of victory against the perpetrators.

May I put it Crystal clear that recently I got disturbed by our own MRP's involvement in the reburial of the remains of a Gwanda person that had just been discovered in the area. My view of MRP has been that, it is a party led by thoughtful youths who are itching for success but I now think otherwise.

As youth as it's leadership is, I think they could be mentally and emotionally strong and politically awake to take advantage of every situation that unfolds in Mthwakazi. I was so much pained to read an article by MRP soon after the discovery that they were going to be part of the burial and to see their leader sitting among the mourners (the politically closed), contributing to destroy the evidence we desperately want to give substance to our claims.

It is so much painful to note that MRP leadership is content with findings and results of the findings that Mugabe published, that I personally believe he (Mugabe) knew they could set if a little off the hook if published that way. We are the surviving victims of Gukurahundi and we are the only people who can tell what happened just as it is and if we are saying more than 100 000 people were killed, why should MRP not put our claims into consideration and try to dig deeper into that but show signs of being content with what the killer says. When the CCJPZ conducted its research on Gukurahundi, it did it on random basis of interviewing people, not all Mthwakazi people were interviewed. That alone leaves a lot to be desired on the results of their findings.

In 1999 when they went around "shopping" for killings information, I was at home and they did not enter my home. My 2 blood brothers and 5 neighbours went missing since then to date. No one can point to where they were all buried and it is obvious they are not included in the 20 000 that Mugabe agreed to have killed. Taking this into account, what gives us clarity that the remains that MRP took part in "destroying", had their owner counted among the victims of the Gukurahundi?

My understanding of the Zimbabwean situation, there is 1 expert in forensic pathology. So who and when was the pathology examination of the remains conducted, to determine who did they belong to and the cause of death of their owner? Were the remains linked with the possible surviving victims of the deceased, to give them certainty that they had indeed buried their loved one?

May I take this chance to advise MRP leadership not to pursue individual glory and cost us our long overdue Independence. Your participation in destroying Gukurahundi evidence will seriously tarnish your image if you don't refrain from it.
