May Mugabe enjoy his rest

Enough about Igwe. Well, this is long but it wont take you 37 years to read it, I can guarantee that. He is gone and he will not return for sure, whether you like him or not.
The difference between memories and visions is that the former takes you backwards where you will never be again while the latter takes you forward where you will be. Let the old man enjoy his rest on earth, he has been through a lot and by the way we are not talking of Satan here, we are talking of a man who made terrible mistakes just like you and me.
We are talking of another human being, a father to some people and a creation of the same God who created you and me. Some of you even have the audacity to call another human being a 'Goblin'..really? Whats wrong with you Zimbabweans?
He will be judged by Him, just like you and me, full stop. His main fault in the eyes of the beholder who is us was that he was the Chief Executive Officer of a system that did not deliver to expectations of the nation, correct?
We agree that the Chief Executive officer of a company is responsible for the actions of his sub-ordinates when they are on duty. We agree that the CEO is also responsible for the success and failures of a company, correct? So, when he fails he has to go and it is natural and nothing personal.
So Now, whoever takes over can only be judged by how he handles the situation he inherits, not by History Comrades.
I honestly dont know if he will be the same, better or worse, lets agree on that. Its only God who knows that one yet you hear Prophets of Doom, the same people who celebrated like mad men when Igwe signed off, already telling us that the person coming in will be worse. Get away! Are you God?
Im not here to mark the book of someone's life but to encourage, to participate in the mending of our country by saying what we all want to see, a better happy peaceful and prosperous Zimbabwe.
Where are you getting the powers to see the future? I personally think that whoever comes in, regardless of Party affiliation, has a massive duty to perform and you and me need to play our roles also. No one can do it alone and he needs a good team, good advisers and most importantly God. I am confident that whoever is coming is not stupid enough to make the same mistakes that Igwe did. Sometimes we learn from others mistakes, fact!
I know, there are those who will want whoever comes to fail, simply because they want their own to be there. But who told you that the one whom you want will be super? I have said it before that there are great Leaders in MDC, there are very bad people in MDC and similarly there are very good people in Zanu and there are very bad people in Zanu. Well, its natural but listen, as for now, ndozviripo sekunjalo. Its about Zimbabwe for me, not individuals or Parties. Its about the system that needs to change. If a baboon is good, people will appreciate, if an angel is bad, people will criticise.
Finally, lets learn to forgive. Thats what god wants. Ian Smith as Chief Executive of Rhodesia killed thousands of Zimbabweans, you forgave and he even lived, farmed and died in Zimbabwe many many years later. Igwe must be forgiven for all he has committed against the nation. Thats what God wants!
Hate has no place in the new Zimbabwe. God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!
