Wishing Mugabe dead is a vital and therapeutic placebo for Zimbabweans
14 Jan 2016 at 10:28hrs | Views
It is therapeutic for people like me to read RUMOURS of Mugabe death. The only thing that l have always believed since 1983 is that Zimbabwe will see its Independence the day Mugabe dies.
Hoax news of Mugabe death give a placebo moment of joy and hope which heals victims of this unrepentant evil and corrupt Master.
Because of the mental injuries suffered under Gukurahundi, the medicine for many Zimbabweans has become news of Mugabe's death. Because of the same injury, this writer also gets a window of false happiness if l play lottery. Before lottery results are announced, my brain works very well making budgets worth millions of dollars. Though false, l enjoy that therapeutic window as much as l enjoy the annual false news of Mugabe's death.
Any publication that will run false news of Mugabe death will get my readership. I get medicinal help by reading about the false news of the death of a man who brutalised me so much but still enjoys the best of life at my expense.
Online news publications should remember how they started in 2004. They should remember that they were put together to heal Zimbabweans who have no voice in Herald, Chronicle, ZBC etc.
Government controlled papers save to market Mugabe and cover his stink. Our online newspapers are an antidote to that and should remain so. They should save the generality of Zimbabweans with the menu they want. They should not be bullied to end up propping Mugabe.
I therefore support the ZimEye for making me start my 2016 with a Therapeutic Placebo of the death of Mugabe. For many Zimbabweans who were robbed of their complete Independence, the real death of Mugabe will be a healing experience and a beginning for prosperity. On that day, Police corruption will die with Mugabe. Poverty will die, potholes on our roads will die, hospital rot will die, job losses will die, tribal marginalisation will die.
Please give us a placebo while Mugabe lives so that he can see how prosperous our lives will be when he takes his cruel head to Heroes Acre.
