West Hands Off Zimbabwe's Internal Affairs

Diplomat William M. Bellamy, you are a shameful westerner that does not subscribe to the fundamental democratic values held by your nation state, the US, which claims to be the custody of the most advanced democracy in the world.
The wonder is Bellamy; you need to be reminded that you are not capable of recognising the democratic processes that were at play in Zimbabwe in 2002. In that year some presidential polls were held in which all interested candidates participated under free and fair conditions.
Conducting polls for purposes of choosing national leaders is the most indispensible component of democracy. But Bellamy why do you see a missed opportunity in formal processes which are poised to ensure the continuity of a sovereign state? You advocate for use of military power to dislodge democratically elected leaders.
South Africa found no logical sense in cooperating with the west in exerting unnecessary pressure on it to host a base to attach a legitimate government that was operational in Zimbabwe. This is a sharp contrast to US aggressive foreign policy whereby they attach and crush innocent governments all in the disguised agenda of promoting democracy, while they will be pursuing the values of their selfish international agenda of exploiting all nation states and amassing wealth.
The US government is infamous for destroying foreign governments for no apparent reason. For instance, they in recent years they instituted the murder of the Libyan President Colonel Muarmmar Gaddaffi, and the coerced strangulation of Saddam Hussein of Iraq over trumped charges of possessing weapons of mass destruction which their inspectors failed to prove and/or discover.
US is unpopular for causing perilous and devastating foreign wars in the middle east, and proxy wars in Africa through funding rebel groups to cause civil wars which displace numerous populations from their homes. Africa is torn apart owing to US actions as they assume the undeclared role of international police and the big brother mentality.
Bellamy, the US can be a better state if they keep hands-off Zimbabwe's affairs as we are an independent state which is capable of taking care of its domestic issues. We can only invite foreigners when we find it necessary to do so.
I want to ask Bellamy if democracy also entails a deliberate disregard of the peoples' will? Or it is a blatant antithesis of this virtue that you are trying to cultivate? Probably you need more tuition on the elementary tenets of democracy in the modern world. It is imperative that you honour humanity by paying tribute to their choices.
I want to imagine how much terror your government could have caused on lives of Zimbabweans as habitual a merciless global aggressor had South African President, Thabo Mbeki, bought your idea of ravaging innocent nations. There could have been blood spillage which is reminiscent of what we have gone through in recent decades when we were engaged in a war of liberation struggle. We cannot allow that to happen to us anymore, so just keep hands-off our internal affairs!
