Mapeza names his Mashonaland United for Bafana Bafana match

The Matabeleland regions continue to disappoint when it come to the Zimbabwe Warriors selection as no player from the region has been selected for national duty of late.
From all the 20 players that were selected for the friendly against Bafana Bafana only one player (Vusa Nyoni) is from the region and the rest are from Matabeleland East.
Many football analysts claim that the inclusion of Mapeza as a coach has made it very difficult for boys from Matabeleland to make it to the squad as he favours players from Matabeleland East instead of selecting players on merit.
Mapeza's selection can be understood as teams from the Matabeleland region are struggling to assert their authority in the domestic league. Highlanders is struggling so is Zimbabwe Saints and Chicken Inn.
Some of the players that Mapeza has selected have had cameo appearances for their clubs and one wonders why they are in Mapeza's so called national team.
One commentator questioned why Mapeza did not select Obert Moyo, the pundit asks who is better the chosen central defenders and Moyo. He also questions where Zvasiya is playing, by the way who is Zwasiya? Thomas Sweswe has been having a torrid time in the South African premier league which we know to be inferior to other African leagues (they have the money but their teams are not good, which explains why Zimbabwe has two slots in Africa).
