Is the invasion of the ZAPU offices a declaration of war?

02 Sep 2016 at 20:04hrs | Views
ZAPU YF is extremely angry, disgusted and utterly abhorred by the invasion of our party offices by the heavily armed anti riot police officers.

"Is this a declaration of war; is the ruling party declaring a war against ZAPU?"

The anti riot police contingent consisted of over fifty heavily armed police officers who insanely harassed the elderly party members in broad day light and went as far as barricading and sealing off the roads.

As the Youth Front we do not take the harassment of our party members kindly and this is the second time in one week where our party members have been targeted and victimized by the ruling party and its surrogates in their desperate bid to destroy emasculate and instil sheer fear in the opposition politics.

As the Youth Front we would like to make it clear that our adhesion to buntuism must not be misread and taken as our weakness. We are not stupid. We are not going to allow anyone to assault our party, if there are somehow any thoughts that the Youth Front is scared then we would like to quickly dispel those dangerous illusions, "we are not scared" and we will fight back.

We would like to make it clear to everyone that he Youth Front is going to continue undeterred with its efforts in wrestling Zimbabwe from the stranglehold of the ruling party that has brought nothing but suffering for our people. To all the Zimbabwean youths, it is essential for us to act now; we are therefore calling all the youths in Zimbabwe and abroad to throw away the velvet kids gloves with the iron fist. We are inviting all the youths to come and join us in our fight for true freedom and democracy. Let us all rattle our spears against these pathetic excuses of political leaders.

There is no written template on how a revolution must be conducted. The good for nothing Gukurahundi's must go to hell.
