09:30, 5 Feb - +263 7* *** ****: ZANU PF ACTIVIST PUSHED TO DEATH FROM COMBI
A Zanu Pf activist was yesterday pushed to death from a moving commuter omnibus along Beatrice road just after Boka Tobacco Auction floors. The man, who cannot be named as of now is said to be in his late 20s and they were coming from Harare International airport to meet President Mugabe who was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for an African union summit.
Eyewitnesses say the supporters hired a combi from Ushewekunze to Airport. After meeting the President the combi crew refused to take them back where he picked and then an altercation started. The combi crew then bungled the man into the combi and sped off.
They started fighting inside the moving vehicle and the driver who had exchanged the wheel with the conductor pushed him through the door. He was taken to Harare central hospital where he later died.
