Late disciplinary decisions have thrown Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Serie A championship race wide open as Bantu Rovers have suddenly come to the picture and are now stalking Highlanders Academy in the Under 14s and Under 16s. Bantu Rovers who wre thrown a lifeline after their game against Makhandeni City Pirates in which they were walked over has been ordered to be replayed by the League's Disciplinary Committee. This has seen Makhandeni City Pirates docked three (3) points and three (3) goals in all the age groups.
The decision making body in the process has thrown Serie A wide open with Bantu Rovers the greatest beneficiaries. Rovers grabbed this opportunity and they in the process whacked Pumula East Academy 18-0 in the under 18s with Thamsanqa Ncube grabbing half a dozen goals. Chrispen Ncube and Obidience Siwela grabbed a hatrick apiece, Sean Banda,Tambudzai and Michael Kudu each weighed in with a brace as Rovers ran riot against a hapless East Academy.
