NORMAN Mapeza says his men are in good shape ahead of their battle against Highlanders at Barbourfields tomorrow. The platinum miners are in good spirits after they collected maximum points in their first match when they edged Tsholotsho at Mandava.
"We are ready for Highlanders. So far so good. I can't complain although we still have another day to prepare," said Mapeza.
"Our preparations have gone well and we have been working hard. The new players have acquitted themselves very well. "We created chances but failed to bury them against Tsholotsho. "We have been talking about it and everything will be fine.
"The most important thing is to do well in the first five games of the season. "We are playing Highlanders, one of the biggest teams in the country and they did well when they went to Hwange and we know the threat they can pose.
"We are ready for the challenge." Highlanders are likely to field Kasimero Chimbadzwa whom they acquired from ZRP recently.
They also have Knox Mtizwa, who scored a double at the colliery, Bruce Kangwa and the exciting King Nadolo.
