ZIMBABWE Saints Academy product Dalubuhle Dlodlo is set for a month trial stint in Germany.
Speaking to B-Metro Sport his coach, Stokefield Mlambo, said the youthful striker would make a stop-over in Canada where he will be there for a month before flying to Germany for trials with Schalke 04 FC.
"He would be in Canada where he would train with our sister Academy which is under the safe hands of Eddy Mukanana. He would train with the academy for a month and leave at the end of June to Germany," he said.
Mlambo described the 17-year-old forward as a scoring machine that hardly misses when he is given the chance.
"In tournament matches and league matches he scored 35 goals and that helped him to be noticed by the scout and our president quickly recommended him for trials," he said.
Due to his scoring prowess Dlodlo was noticed by a German scout who had come with the president of Zimbabwe Saints Academy-Eddy Mukanana.
Dlodlo is grateful of the glorious opportunity.
"This is a glorious opportunity for me. I will try to give my all," said Dlodlo.
Mlambo said the forward cut his football teeth at Zimbabwe Saints Academy at the age of 9. He rose through the ranks to captain Under-18 which are in Division 3.
