Scottland FC president Pedzai Sakupwanya has set an ambitious target for the reigning Zimbabwean champions, declaring that the club is aiming to win every trophy on offer this season as they seek to cement their dominance in domestic football.

The Mabvuku-based side, who won the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title in their debut top-flight campaign, have already added silverware this year after lifting the Castle Lager Challenge Cup following a commanding 5–0 victory over Dynamos.

They now turn their attention to the Independence Cup, where they face Highlanders in Maphisa during the country's 46th Independence Day celebrations hosted in Matabeleland South province.

Sakupwanya said the club's ambitions extend well beyond isolated success, insisting that Scottland are building a winning culture across all competitions.

"We are bringing home the Independence trophy," he said. "We are going for every trophy on offer."

The fixture marks a quick rematch between the two sides after their recent league encounter at Rufaro Stadium ended in a draw, a result Scottland are keen to overturn.

While Independence Cup matches are often used to rotate squads due to logistical and pitch considerations, Sakupwanya has insisted that Scottland will field a full-strength team and expects Highlanders to do the same.

"I urge you to bring your best players," he said. "We are bringing our first team players. We want to win all the trophies on offer this year."

Beyond the Independence Cup and league defence, Scottland's targets include the Chibuku Super Cup, the newly introduced Munhumutapa Challenge Cup, and a campaign in the CAF Champions League.

Despite their strong ambitions, the Norman Mapeza-led side currently sits fifth on the league table, three points behind leaders Caps United after seven rounds of matches.

With multiple competitions still ahead, Scottland's push for a clean sweep is set to be one of the defining storylines of the season.
