Former Miss Zim-USA on the verge of becoming a TV personality

FORMER Miss Zimbabwe-USA 2006, the charismatic, elegant and drop-dead gorgeous, Makhosazana Ndlovu has won the Russell Simmons Globalgrind's new red carpet video correspondent contest and is on the verge of becoming a TV personality.
Globalgrind is one of the leading American digital media companies, which promotes the broadest and deepest array of content of interest to the hip hop community from the most authoritative sources across the web.
The platform features exclusive blogs, videos, music, news, gossip and politics, which users can submit, vote and comment on and syndicate using Facebook, Twitter and other social media tools. Headquartered in New York City, Global Grind is a privately owned firm funded by Accel Partners and Russell Simmons.
Makho has appeared on BBC's Have your say TV show discussing the Queen's Jubilee.
Makho as she is warmly known has a success story of over 6 years and this comes as the best.
Makho (27) is very pretty and yet remains humble when she has so much to brag about.
She has appeared on billboards, hair magazines such as Hype Hair, Milky Way hair, music videos and has won several beauty pageants in America to mention a few of her success stories.
According to a blog site - bantudaily.com, Makho entered the search in August last year when Globalgrind readers were asked, to submit a video and some questions they would ask a celebrity on a red carpet interview. After three rounds and three months of rigorous voting and debate, finally a winner was found and Makho was chosen to be the red carpet celebrity reporter.
On why they chose Makho, a Globalgrind representative stated,
"We chose Makho because of her knowledge of her subjects, her on camera personality, her delivery and because she definitely caught our attention. With so much experience and drive, we are positive Makho will make all her supporters proud," said the rep.
Asked how she felt about her success, Makho had this to say: "Words can't even begin to describe how I feel at this very moment. I am overjoyed, thrilled and ecstatic. My heart is literally jumping out of my chest," she said.
Makho emigrated from Zimbabwe to Indiana, USA after completing high school and later moved to New York in pursuit of her dreams.
In 2006, after deciding to compete in pageants, Makho was crowned Miss Zimbabwe USA.
In 2008, she was named runner up in the Miss New York Pageant. Additionally, after doing well in the pageant world, Makho reached even higher in her goals by working as a model for print and television, appearing in national commercials and adverts for American reality TV show - The Rachel Ray Show, Verizon Wireless, Discovery Channel and on the cover of numerous magazines.
