The MBAQANGA group Soul Brothers has vowed to continue with holding of shows after losing their lead singer David Masondo.

The group held a meeting to discuss its future plans on Thursday last week.

Daily Sun reported that Soul Brothers co-founder, Moses Ngwenya, said all members will be given a chance to lead the group.

Moses said they're not going to replace David but the group will continue with their performances and recordings.

Moses, aka "Black Moses" said giving members a chance to lead won't cause any confusion in the group as all members will be treated equally.

He said Soul Brothers is a brand that should be run with transparency and dignity.

Black Moses added he has been communicating with all their group members including Impumelelo, Oguluva, Imitshotshovu, Denis Gumede and Nkosinathi Mbatha.

Black Moses told Sunday Sun: "The decision to involve all members to lead the group is a bit tough and complicated but will yield results in the end.

"We treat all our members equally and some of them have tested the leading role previously."

He believes leadership will work wonders for the group, and said there will be different faces in the leading role and members will also be given a chance to write songs.

Black Moses formed the group 39 years ago with the late David, Zenzele Mchunu, Vala Nzimande, American Zulu and Thuza Mthethwa.

He thanked all former leaders and said he has learnt a lot from them and dedicated the success of the group to them. They are expected to drop their latest album this year.
