Mandela's ex rumoured to pose for Playboy

Cape Town - Playboy South Africa has landed a major coup with its upcoming October edition cover.

Three famous South African female characters, part of the political landscape for the past twenty years, and of different ages, races and ideology will appear together on this much-expected cover, Sapa has reported.

When the news was recently announced on an SA radio station interview in the Cape, also without disclosure on who the characters may be, the air waves were abuzz with speculation on whether this Playboy cover might perhaps include prominet SA oposition leaders Helen Zille or Patricia de Lille.

A spokesperson for Playboy said during this same interview that Winnie Mandela could not be ruled out entirely.

Confidentiality statements have been drawn up and a team was dispatched to Playboy's printers last week to get all personnel who will be working on this edition to retain secrecy.

All Playboy staff have also been sworn to secrecy and it is expected that Playboy will be making an announcement by the third week of September, as the new edition is about to hit retail outlets.
