Dudley Halls School in Norton added its name amongst the best primary schools in the country by having 38 pupils who had 4 units at grade seven final examinations while 25 had 5 units.
While there happens to be one school nationally with results better than it it is also prudent to note that the school only has 3 classes at grade seven which produced 16, 13 and 9 candidates.
The results broke not only the school record but also the provincial record.
A source at the school alluded the success of the school academically due to concerted efforts by both the teachers and parents.
The SDA chairman Mr Wilfred Mangwaira was quoted in a state of delirium over these results. In Mashonaland West the schools that follow it have 9 or less 4 unit candidates.
Chancellor Primary School in Mutare has broken the national record of excellence after 42 of its Grade Seven pupils scored four units during this year's examinations.
