A British terrorist who was jailed after murdering Lee Rigby, a British soldier, in 2013 has reportedly launched a compensation bid over a scuffle with prison guards that could cost taxpayers £100,000.
According to UK Mirror, Michael Adebolajo claims he has been left with 'psychological injury' after he was left with two teeth missing following the incident in 2013.
He has now filed a writ in the High Court asking for £25,000.
But with costs for a police investigation and legal fees taken into consideration the total is likely to be around £100,000.
Adebolajo, 32, and his accomplice Michael Adebowale, 26, ran Fusilier Lee over with their car near to his barracks in Woolwich, south London, on May 22, 2013.
The killer then tried to cut 25-year-old Lee's head off using a knife and cleaver as shocked crowds called for the emergency services.
