Today on the 30th May 2015 ZAPU regrouped in Brighton, in attendance was the Party's Secretary General Doctor Ralph Mguni and some members of the PEC.
The District Organising Secretary Mr Mandlenkosi Sibanda told the meeting that the time was right to revive ZAPU everywhere "The by-elections in Zimbabwe are a blessing in disguise, the mobilisation exercise which has been led by the Party President has ignited interest in ZAPU members and supporters, it is the right time for us to revive and strengthen our district here in order to augment the good work on the ground" Mr Sibanda said.
"Today we were able to map out the roadmap which shall guide us in our mobilisation and restructuring work. In the near future we want the whole of the United Kingdom to descend and converge in Brighton. That process has already begun the existing committee has been refortified in order to fulfil the mandate which was placed on us" Mr Tshuma, the District Chairperson.
Many people were happy about the current door to door mobilisation process going on in Zimbabwe they encouraged each other to call friends and family to encourage them to be part of the ground-breaking process and to ask them to vote for ZAPU in the forthcoming by-elections.
Meanwhile in Bulawayo at Stanley Square stadium there was a large crowd in the rally organised to mobilise support for ZAPU parliamentary candidates. The Elections Manager Mr Mark Mbayiwa was ecstatic after the rally. "We are satisfied with the attendance, it was all gold today, the Golden Revolution is on the march, come 10th June we are kicking ZANU PF out of Bulawayo once and for all and forever" Mr Mbayiwa said with a smile on his face.
Since ZAPU started the door to door mobilisation exercise three weeks back its offices have been inundated by large numbers of people seeking to buy membership cards.

ZAPU is quickly becoming a force to reckon with in the Zimbabwean political terrain, it is the only political Party with a clear political program of detoxifying the political environment through devolution of power.
