Man killed in beer brawl

POLICE in Tsholotsho are investigating a murder case after a man was bludgeoned to death with a log during a beer brawl.
Matabeleland North police spokesperson Inspector Glory Banda confirmed the arrest of Fios Dube, who is accused of murdering Butho Moyo of Zabagwadi Line under Chief Mathuphula.
"Tsholotsho police received a tip-off to the effect that Moyo was assaulted by a log all over his body and head by Dube leading to his death," Banda said.
Moyo fled towards Jimila Bussiness Centre, but lost consciousness at Simunyu School.
He was discovered the following day at around 10 AM by two villagers who took him to Jimila Clinic by a scotch cart. Moyo died from his injuries at Tsholotsho Hospital days later.
