School boy choked before being robbed

A schoolboy who was walking to his home in Bulawayo after school was mugged and choked by two men before they could steal his mobile phones.
This was heard by Bulawayo magistrate Charity Maphosa when Andrew Maseko (18) and Michael Mahlangu (17) appeared before her charged with the assault and theft from Ivin Payne.
They were not asked to plead to the charge and were remanded out of custody to August 28 for trial.
The court heard that Payne was coming from school at 5pm when he met the two boys who termed up to choke him before stealing his mobile phones. Andrew then sold the phone to Mbusi and it was recovered.
The phone was recovered.
