Parents at Hlanganani High School in Chiredzi are refusing to take the new head transferred to their school because she was moved on disciplinary account.
They told The Mirror that Agnes Mudawarima was moved from Chiredzi Government High School to Hlanganani after a disciplinary action over allegations of abuse of office.
Felix Mundau who is Chief Tshovani confirmed the developments and said the communities were rejecting Mudawarima because she had dirty hands.
He said a petition had since been written to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Schools.
"We will not allow ourselves to accept someone who was rejected somewhere and is under investigation to come to our school. We will not work with her," said Chief Tshovani.
Acting Chiredzi District Education Officer Otilia Njitimani said she heard about the case while she was out of office.
She said her office is yet to investigate the case so that they come up with a solution.
