Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko has paid visits to the Senda and Ndlovu families following the loss of their family members.
The visits came in the wake of the deaths to one of the country's first black lawyers, Advocate Lot Senda who was buried at Athlone Cemetery in Bulawayo last week and Zenzele Ndlovu, son to Zanu PF Central Committee member, Naison Khutshwekhaya Ndlovu.
Mphoko who was accompanied by his wife and son first visited the Senda home where he expressed his shock at the death of Advocate Senda.
"I only learnt of the of this great man's death while I was away in Mozambique so I felt it was important to visit the family as Advocate Senda was one of the people that welcomed him in 1980 when he returned from the armed struggle.
Mr Reginald Vulindlela Senda, son to the late Advocate Senda thanked the Vice President for his visit and also expressed his family's gratitude to the government for the support it rendered them during the time of bereavement.
Mphoko's next port of call was Senator Kutshwekhaya Ndlovu's residence to also express his condolences following the death of his son, Zenzele who was buried at West Park Cemetery in Bulawayo last Friday.
Vice President Mphoko urged both families to find comfort people were mourning with them.
