The Zimbabwe People First (Zim PF) National Youth wing have unapologetically throw its weight behind the founding party leader and true visionary Dr Joyce Teurairopa Mujuru following her well informed decision to expel so called intruders, masquerades, infiltrators and detractors from the party structures.
In a statement the youth wing said the expulsion of a cabal led by infiltrators Rugare Gumbo, Didymus Mutasa,Rtd Col Makova, K Bhasikiti, kandemiri, Dongo and M Mutezo is a commendable cleanup campaign as the party gears for the 2018 general elections.
"Contrary to uninformed theories from uninformed political analysts that the expulsion portrays lack of democracy within the party, we as the Zim PF National Youth wing debunk these unfounded conceptions and chose to remain committed to the struggle. As a focused and committed Zim PF Youths wing, we want to make it clear that Dr Mujuru's power as a leader does not come from the expelled clueless infiltrators, but from the people on the ground. Dr Joyce Mujuru is a tried and tasted political brand whose image was becoming slowly but surely contaminated by association with the fired political opportunists who still believe in Zanu PF," said the youth wing.
"We further take this opportunity to nullify the press conference which these subverts held, claiming to be representing the party. It should be known that as a party, we remain loyal to Dr Mujuru, thus the press briefing by Mutasa and comrades in infiltration should not be confused for a party position, but a press briefing held in their individual capacities."
The youth said Mutasa and his comrades' efforts to destroy people first from within developed long back.
"Despite being expelled from Zanu PF, Mutasa kept contacts with his friend and Boss President Robert Mugabe, with high hopes of being roped back into Zanu PF party structures. We strongly recommend our party leadership for getting rid of elements that works day and night to hinder the progress made by the people's party. The expelled pretended to be Zim PF in the afternoon, yet wining and dining with Zanu PF in the evening. Their commitment to Zanu PF is evidenced by how they have worked tirelessly to block any efforts by opposition political parties to form a productive coalition to fight against Zanu PF in the much awaited 2018 general elections," said the youth wing.
