Magistrate grants order allowing aliens to register to vote

Harare magistrate yesterday granted an application made by the Zimbabwe Human Right lawyers seeking an order allowing so called aliens to register to vote.

ZLHR lawyer Bhamu Jeremiah said the magistrate Munangati-Manongwa has granted an order allowing so called Aliens to go and get registered by ZEC provided that they bring along with them (1) Their Identity Documents endorsed alien coupled with a Birth Certificate. (2) Proof of residence.
