Dabengwa turns 78 today

Today, the 6th December, the hero and source of inspiration to the struggle for freedom and democracy in Africa celebrates the day he was born.
Dabengwa was born 6 December 1939 in the Bubi District of Zimbabwe.
The visionary, who is a leader of Zimbabwe African People's Union (ZAPU), once a young quite boy during the colonial era, slowly and surely expressed his life purpose through immense contribution to the liberation and independence struggle of the African people. Towards our freedom, he persevered as a boy, a cadre, a father, a visionary and revolutionary. He has been consistent in this regard to date.
ZAPU joins President DD, Zimbabwe and Africa, his family and friends in celebrating this important day. May God grant him life, good health and wisdom as we use him as an instrument towards real and total freedom for Zimbabwe and Africa.
From ZAPU it is a happy birthday leader and commander. Happy birthday to the undisputed icon of African and Zimbabwean freedom and independence.
