CIO boss, Chirinda declared provincial hero

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has conferred the late Deputy Director in the Presidents Office, Nickson Chirinda with a provincial hero status.
Chirinda died on Saturday night in a road accident in Chinhoyi.
In a statement, the Acting Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Ray Ndhlukula said Chirinda has been granted a state assisted funeral following the declaration.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
