Woman nabbed for selling 'Tumbwa'

A 31-year-old Madziwa woman is assisting police with investigations after she was arrested on Wednesday for selling illicit beer.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo confirmed the arrest saying they have stepped up the fight against illicit beer.
"We arrested Judith Sora after falling into a trap set by police officers," he said
Sora was arrested after selling a pack of 42 whiskey units to a plain clothes police officer for 4 United States dollars at Davy Quarters bottle store in Madziwa
Police subsequently recovered nine packs containing 378 units of the illegal Tumbwa whiskey.
"The police would like to thank members of the public for information leading to the arrest of perpetrators of illicit beer dealings, the police had already stepped up their efforts to eradicate beers dealings the police is also appealing for more information leading to total eradication, of the supply manufacture storage possession, drinking and or use of illicit beer."
Illicit beer has become a menace to society as it is causing social ills.
