Filabusi man killed over cigarette

The Zimbabwe Republic Police have reported that it is investigating a case of murder in which one Lucky Dube (26) allegedly struck Talent Tshuma (35) once on the head with a hammer after a misunderstanding over a cigarette at Sidzibe Business Centre, Filabusi on Wednesday at about 1800 hours.
The police said they have since launched a manhunt on the suspect, who fled from the scene after committing the offence.
Meanwhile, police in Mbare arrested Tichaona Mavhunga (23), Takudzwa Mavhunga (23) Tanaka Martin (21), and Goodhope Charachimwe (28) in connection with a case of murder that occurred at Kuwadzana Rank, Mbare, Harare, on the 12th of April.
The suspects allegedly assaulted Virimai Murombo (34) with fists and booted feet all over the body after a misunderstanding.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and was referred to Sally Mugabe Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries on the 27th while on admission.
