ZANU-PF youths in Mashonaland Central proved to be ready for elections after they came in large numbers to meet their leaders on Sunday in Chiweshe.
The provincial youth leader Emmerson Raradza who is part of Politiburo member Kenneth Musanhi's faction proved to be a good mobilizer.
Raradza who is part of the Korekore and Zezuru tribes received a lot of verbal praise from his national leadership led by deputy Secretary John Paradza.
Speaking at the youth interdistrict meeting in Chiweshe Raradza said the youths were ready to defend President Mnangagwa's position but had a few challenges hence they want to be empowered.
"As youths in Mashonaland Central province we are ready to defend our President in the looming election but we are just disturbed with lack of empowerment," Raradza said.
"We also want to benefit from Pfumvunza which is being rolled out by the President, as of mining we would like to thank our party leadership for empowering youths in the mining sector especially in Mount Darwin district (Mukaradzi)."
Paradza hailed Raradza for mobilizing youths and encouraging them to vote for Mnangagwa.
