ZANU PF President Mnangagwa has rallied ZANU PF's Youth and Women wings to aggressively anchor the party's voter mobilisation and registration exercise on the visible completed projects as pitched in the ZANU PF's promise of the 2018 manifesto, as the party prepares for the 2023 victory.

The call by President Mnangagwa comes in the backdrop of the successful holding of the party's Youth and Women Leagues Conferences.

He also urged the leadership to take keen interests in helping people get registration documents as well as providing strategic guidance to the lower structures of the party.

Officially opening the 346th ordinary session of the Zanu PF Politburo in Harare yesterday, President Mnangagwa, said the ruling party's voter registration exercise should translate into votes for the ruling party.

"All activity and focus must be mobilising and encouraging people to register to vote. In preparations for the elections ZEC now has the figures of registered voters per province to date. Though the registration exercise is ongoing I expect the party to look at how many will account for the Zanu PF vote.

"Youth and women should aggressively mobilise. We need as many people to register and ultimately vote for Zanu PF. Leadership must take keen interest in helping people get registration documents.

"Provide strategic guidance to the lower structures. Focus on the bigger picture which is to win the election. There is no room for bickering as it may costs us votes. It's alien to the party.

"Leaders must go down to the people. We should immense ourselves with the people. It's the duty of every leader to ensure the results of our programme depict the works of the party. Our communities should enjoy the fruits of shared development as we march towards realising Vision 2030.

"The Second Republic has made sure that we have visible completed projects. Policies are positively impacting people. We promise to deliver the promise of the 2018 manifesto. Challenge party structures to deploy strategies to publicise what we have done and our policies. People need to appreciate the stride we are taking," said President Mnangagwa.
