Acting President  General (Retired) Constantino Chiwenga has warned showy businessman, Wicknell Chivhayo from corruptly acquiring and splashing the country's wealth recklessly (respectively) while the masses are wailing in abject poverty.

Speaking during his address before the burial of the late hero, Justin Mupamhanga, Chiwenga has disclosed that unlike the struggle for liberation era where combatants were principled towards solitary vision, Chivhayo's spending spree and allegiance to corruption is second to none.

"Our vision 2030 is for all of us, kwete dzamunoti mbinga kuhondo taidziti zvigananda: those who grow big tummies through ill-gotten wealth and questionable morals! A nation is as developed as its weakest man and women; indeed as its remotest part," Chiwenga warned.

The government is fully aware of the issues that are affecting the citizenry such as unreliable public transport, unregulated informal market, health and infrastructure challenges which are already being addressed," Chiwenga assures.

During the same address, Chiwenga added the essence of succession in any set-up whilst emphasizing on respecting each other, equity and equality as best tenets for best leadership.

"The gold, the diamonds, the platinum, the much-sought after lithium, the uranium, gas, gas, oil, the rare earth minerals and much more, all of which no foreigner saw or fully enjoyed before our time. Today, all these must be shared equitably, and for the development yechitsuwa chedu cheZimbabwe," Chiwenga said.

"I am highlighting all these so that you understand, Dear fellow Zimbabweans, that the mantras by which this nation is governed, come from very far, they define us as a people. They capture our deeply-held values, our morals, our aspirations and burdens we carry forward bestowed to us by our fallen heroes. Inhaka yemusiidzanwa, a timeless heritage which each generation must safeguard jealously, and bequeath to the next one after it," Chiwenga said.
