MAZOWE - Renowned traditional healer Sekuru Nyangatayani, also known as Peter Chingudzi, brought festive cheer to disadvantaged members of Mazowe District on Christmas Day by donating thousands‑worth of hampers and gifts.
The donations, handed out at Tsungubvi Hall in Glendale, benefited the visually impaired, disabled, elderly, widows, widowers and orphans. Nyangatayani emphasised the importance of leaders giving back to their communities.
“It’s a duty of leaders, including traditional healers, to give back to communities, especially the differently able‑bodied members,” Sekuru Nyangatayani said.
Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gesture.

Gogo London, who received a hamper, said: “This will help us put food on the table, thank you Sekuru Nyangatayani.”
Visually impaired beneficiary Willard Pemhiwa said: “This is a kind act, may God bless you abundantly.”
