Police investigate hit-and-run along Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on 13 February 2026 at the 420 km peg along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road in Victoria Falls.
According to police reports, an unknown motorist struck a 30-year-old man, causing severe injuries. The victim reportedly died on the spot, while the driver failed to stop at the scene.
The ZRP has launched an investigation to identify the motorist responsible and is appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Authorities have urged road users to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity along the route to assist in the ongoing investigation.
