Mnangagwa to launch sugarcane title deeds in Chiredzi

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is scheduled to visit Chiredzi on April 10, 2026, to launch a title deeds programme for sugarcane farmers at Tshovani Stadium.
Chiredzi District Development Officer, Lovemore Chisema, confirmed the plans on Tuesday during a stakeholders meeting at Chitsanga Hall, noting that preparations for the event are already at an advanced stage.
"President Mnangagwa is coming to meet sugarcane farmers at Tshovani Stadium where he will launch the title deeds programme," Chisema said.
The initiative will benefit over 1,200 sugarcane farmers in the district, giving them formal ownership of their land and strengthening agricultural development in the region.
