Patriotic Vendors4ED congratulates Rtd General Valerio Sibanda on Zanu PF appointment

The Patriotic Vendors4ED National Executive Committee has congratulated Rtd General Philip Valerio Sibanda on his appointment to the Supreme and highest decision‑making body of Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu PF.


In a statement issued by National Executive Chairman Sawu Jere, the committee described the appointment as “well‑deserved” and the result of “years of steadfast discipline, unshakable honour and unwavering dedication to serving the Republic of Zimbabwe”.

The statement said Sibanda had “exemplified the highest standards of professionalism and patriotism” throughout his career, noting his resolute commitment to duty, visionary leadership and deep devotion to the party — qualities the group said continue to inspire citizens who regard him as a guardian of national sovereignty and peace.

“Such promotions transcend mere advancement in party position,” the committee said. “They are enduring symbols of the trust reposed in you, the sacrifices you have borne, and the excellence you have consistently demonstrated in service to Zimbabwe.”

The Patriotic Vendors4ED further wished Sibanda “abundant wisdom, strength and continued success” in his new responsibilities, pledging support for his mission to “defend, protect and uphold the integrity, dignity and honour of our beloved Zimbabwe”.
