A war of words and mudslinging has erupted in MDC-T Matebeleland North Province where Binga legislator Prince Madubeko Sibanda and former Umguza councillor Mxolisi Ndlovu are fighting for the provincial secretary's post.
Yesterday Sibanda was in the media labelling Ndlovu a proxy and a farm worker who does not qualify for the position while Ndlovu gave his own side of the story.
Sibanda has a court case where he is accused of drugging and raping a teenager.
Ndlovu said he is a farmer and that does not mean he cannot qualify for the post.
He said in actual fact he is most eligible for the position because people cannot vote for a rapist who raped a party member's daughter.
